Safety Partnership promoting coordinated collaborative approaches to
crime and fear reduction. |

SITV was set up in 1996 with the following aims
-
To encourage public, private and voluntary
sector invlolvement in a planned and co-ordinated approach to the
development of crime prevention in the Tees Valley.

To reduce crime and the fear of crime in the
Tees Valley through the promotion of crime prevention and community
safety .
-
To monitor progress, encourage best practice and
publicise and promote crime prevention and community safety in the
Tees Valley.

Despite the considerable changes that have taken
place over the last 10 years these aims are still relevant today.
