  • National Citizen Service (NCS) will be a fun and exciting way to spend some of your summer holiday. It is a chance to try new things and prove to yourself and others what you can do.
  • Taking part in NCS will give you the opportunity to help others and give something to your community through a project that you and your team-mates will design.
  • By taking part in NCS you'll learn new skills that will make your future brighter and show that young people make a positive impact in their community.
  • It's also a chance to have fun and meet new people.

NCS Mobile and interactive activities, meet other NCS teams and prepare for the challenge ahead

Community Visit & Skills week (full time/ residential)

Get to know your community and develop skills to prepare for phases 4 and 5 and have fun

Social Action week (full time)

Take part in NEW EXPERIENCES designing social action projects working with your local community

Week beginning 23rd, 30th July or 6th August 2012

Social Action (30 hours part time)

HELPING YOURSELF AND HELPING OTHERS delivering social action projects working with your local community e.g. deliver sporting activity to local children, build and install bird boxes for a local park, improve a community space using art, litter-picks, and fundraising for local charities
