Neighbourhood and Warden Resources CentreThe centre (originally called NEWRC) was established in July 2004, with funding from the Government's Neighbourhood Renewal Unit, to provide practical support and training to community wardens and other practitioners working in neighbourhoods across the North East Region. The centre is now funded through the North East Regional Improvement and Efficiency Partnership (RIEP) and is based at Safe in Tees Valley in Stockton. We have a customer-focused approach and are striving to provide services which are relevant and beneficial to wardens and other front line practitioners Our team of specialist, qualified trainers have a flexible approach and provide specific accredited courses along with bespoke training to meet requirements Much has been achieved over the last few years, and we have ambitious plans for the future.
