New First Aid at Work Regulations take effect from 1st October 2009 The current 4 day first aid at work course will be shortened to 3 days. A new qualification of emergency first aid in the workplace will be delivered over one day. The 2 day requalification will remain the same The HSE advises that all students attend a annual three hour skills update course to prevent 'skills fade'. Current first aid certificates are valid until the expiry date. |
