IT Champions training in London

Posted : 13/04/2015

3 IT Champions attend training in London on Thursday last week in order to run Safe in Tees Valley's exciting new youth-led Microsoft Hub project.

Our hub aims to empower and train young people to become peer educators in digital literacy, offer opportunities for young people to develop their skills in ICT, inform young people of the continuing changes in technology and inspire young people to seek a career in technology.

Gary Brunskill, National Project Officer at UK Youth commented: "This programme is a fantastic addition to our work. We want to ensure that as many young people in our network as possible are able to progress in the digital age, especially those who have limited access to IT."
