NCS youngsters standing out from the crowd

Posted : 25/08/2015

Over 700 young people attended their Social Action Fair last week to meet various organisations across the Tees Valley in order to sign up for volunteer opportunities once they graduate from the once in a lifetime programme. Various opportunities were available to them such as becoming an NCS Champion; to help recruit young people for future programmes; to doing more social action with charities such as Daisy Chain. By getting involved in these projects in their spare time young people will develop the skills that employers want to make them stand out from the crowd and get a great CV, as well as making a difference in their local community. NCS doesn't end at graduation!

If you're an NCS Graduate and want to know more about opportunities and incentives that are available to you please contact our Graduate Coordinator, Lorraine Nevison, on 07843357626 or lorraine.nevison@safeinteesvalley.org.
