NCS Leaders 2015 / 2016

Posted : 08/11/2015

One of Safe in Tees Valley’s NCS Graduates (Brendan Quirk) from our summer 2015 Programme was lucky enough to be nominated for Leaders 2015/16 and it was a week he’ll always remember!

Sevenoaks School in Kent was the venue for a week of fun, inspiration and thought-provoking sessions. Highlights included a trip to 10 Downing Street for one group of graduates, a House of Commons reception and a special appearance by spoken word artist Suli Breaks. At the end of the week, staff at NCS Trust were treated to some amazing presentations delivered by the Leaders.

NCS Trust said “it was a privilege to see the passion and commitment to making a difference displayed by every young person. Thanks to all the regional and local providers who supported the programme by nominating such impressive NCS graduates as NCS Leaders. We look forward to seeing all the amazing things the Leaders will go on to achieve nationally, regionally and locally over the next year and beyond.”

Brendan said “Thanks for nominating me for NCS leaders week! It was a truly inspiring experience. After being nominated to attend, I embarked on an NCS Journey that was so surreal. Thanks again!”
