Safe in Tees Valley News
Founded in 1996 Safe in Tees Valley is celebrating its 20th anniversary...
Safe in Tees Valley is proud to announce that 20 years on it is alive and well and extending its range of partnerships and the services it provides.
The renewal of the contract to deliver National Citizen Service, winning the tender to deliver victim services across Cleveland and Durham and securing the opportunity to play a major part in the delivery of the European funded Youth Employment Initiative, have come together over the last 12 months.
Not only do these contracts demonstrate the range and impact the organisation is making in the local area but they also bring a welcome degree of financial security.
Whilst these projects understandably attract the attention they are far from the whole story with exciting partnership work underway pioneering restorative approaches, engaging with disaffected young people, enhancing child protection and promoting volunteering and youth led social action.
We are in a good place at the moment but this has only been achieved by the commitment of our loyal staff team, the leadership of the Directors and the support of partners. Long may we continue to be:
- Working in partnership
- Creating opportunities
- Promoting safer communities
Many thanks to you all.
