VCAS welcomes 2 new Victim Care Officers

Posted : 10/08/2017

Thanks to the support of Barry Coppinger , Cleveland's Police and Crime Commissioner, 2 additional VCOs have been appointed to extend the Victim Care and Advice Service to include support for the most vulnerable victims of anti-social behaviour. Referrals are largely expected to come via the Police's Victim First Unit but other services concerned about the wellbeing of a victim of anti social behaviour can contact VCAS directly on 0303 040 1099.

The initial impact of the new service will be closely monitored and an evaluation undertaken in February 2018.
