VOICE BOX recognised for contribution to community engagement

Cleveland Police Authority were one of the first organisations to recognise the potential to use the VOICE BOX as an innovative way to engage with the public.

Used at two high profile summer events it provided a focal point for consultation and created a unique audiovisual record of the proceedings. The resulting 'vox pops' representing a wide range of views on what the priorities for policing should be in future.

The campaign has now been submitted under the 'Community Engagement Category' to the Association of Police Authorities Excellance Awards 2010
