Community Space Challenge Secures More Funding
Community Space Challenge initiatives in Middlesbrough and Redcar & Cleveland have received further investment from Catch22 and Big Lottery Fund as a result of a successful application by Safe in Tees Valley.
'Supporting Change' funding will cover the costs to consult and plan with local communities and services to review and develop identified initiatives, and make Community Space Challenge best practice sustainable beyond October 2012.
In addition, supporting Impact funding will then take award winning projects forward into 2013 within a locally led sustainable enterprise model.
We've found that practical environmental and public space improvement work is a great vehicle for bringing the young and old together to improve community safety in the areas where we live and work.
