Police and Crime YouthForum

Posted : 20/11/2012

National Citizen Service (NCS) graduates, aged 16-18, from the Cleveland Police & Crime Youth Forum met on Tuesday 20th November for a tour of the Police Control Room at Ladgate Lane, Middlesbrough.  They learned how the process works from dialling 999 to a Police Officer visiting a crime scene.  It was a fun evening enjoyed by all.

The young people also worked on designing a logo and vision statement to ensure young people of Cleveland ‘have their say’ on the work of Barry Coppinger, Cleveland’s Police & Crime Commissioner, who commences his position from Thursday 22nd November.  If anyone is interested in joining this forum please contact Lorraine Nevison on 07843357626 or lorraine.nevison@safeinteesvalley.org
